Our Story
Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to live a self sufficient life. And, thankfully I was able to find someone who shared that dream with me. My husband and I decided that we wanted to start with some chickens. As we tried, failed and learned we grew! We loved the opportunity to share our homestead happiness with friends and family so, we decided to start sharing it with all of you as well. We are on a journey of living and learning on our homestead and we are so excited that you decided to join us! Welcome to the family!

Bear’s Story
We rescued Bear, a 5 month old Great Pyrenees puppy a couple of weeks ago in pretty rough shape. He had matted fur, fleas as big as Texas & a hind leg that would not bend at the knee like normal and just dragged the ground lifeless. We recently took Bear to the vet and discovered that he was likely hit by a car at a young age and due to the injury not being fixed in a timely manner, he has a calcium buildup in his joints. This means he can’t use this leg and it needs to be amputated.
Amputation procedures costs an arm and a leg (literally…) so, we are asking our friends to support us in giving this sweet boy the life he deserves. Please consider donating to our go fund me for Bear so we can get him back to being the spontaneous, chicken herding dog he was meant to be❤️ We so appreciate it! (and so does Bear).
